Our experience is unique in that before greenroofs were as popular as they are today, we were solving the associated problems of vegetating poorly irrigated, fields, slopes and embankments. Issues of drainage, plant hardiness, sustainability, maintenance and poor access are what we have spent the last 20 years overcoming.
Various members of our small but expanding and committed team have worked for some of the most recognised names in horticulture including Eden Project, National Trust, Royal Parks to name a few.

Sky-Garden Greenroofs, previously known as Greenfix, pioneered the use of vegetation as an engineering tool for the soil erosion and stabilisation industry. However, in 1998 we applied our expertise in vegetating exposed, poorly irrigated slopes to a pitched roof. This was a success and the first of many green roof installations. Since our first greenroof we have maintained strong links with the leading suppliers of greenroofs in Europe and have utilised the experience gained in that more established Greenroof market to refine our Sky-Garden Greenroof systems.
