The client wanted to create a peaceful space, allowing occupants to recharge their batteries during a busy working day. This has been achieved through the installation of various systems by Sky Gardenʼs Podium Landscaping team.
All materials were hoisted to roof level with as little disruption to the occupiers of the building as possible due to lack of crane on site. Despite the projectʼs tight deadlines and location in the centre of the bustling city, the terrace was completed to impeccable standards and will beenjoyed by the occupants of Lombard House for years to come.
The result
The 8th floor of Lombard House has been transformed from an original asphalt roof into an eye-catching terrace overlooking the centre of Birmingham.
